7 In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness 8 and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us. ~ Titus 2:7-8 (NIV)
Hide God's Word in our hearts through Scripture reading and memorization. Even though hard times come, we must always remember His mercies are new every morning.

Teaching Fall Like Rain...
Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants.
~ Deuteronomy 32:2 (NIV)

Elders...
The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching. ~ 1 Timothy 5:17 (NIV)
Elders who do their work well should be respected and paid well, especially those who work hard at both preaching and teaching. (NLT)
Let the elders who perform the duties of their office well be considered doubly worthy of honor [and of adequate financial support], especially those who labor faithfully in preaching and teaching. (AMPC)

The Fellowship of the Believers
42 All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.
43 A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders.44 And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. 45 They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need.46 They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— 47 all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved. ~ Acts 2:42-47 (NLT)

You Are a Slave of Whatever You Choose to Obey
15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! 16 Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. 18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. ~ Romans 6:14-18 (NIV)

The Peril of Falling Away
Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of instruction about washings and laying on of hands, and the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do, if God permits. ~ Hebrews 6:1-3 (NASB)
