11 For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. ~ Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NASB)
Hide God's Word in our hearts through Scripture reading and memorization. Even though hard times come, we must always remember His mercies are new every morning.

Rend Your Heart
12 “Even now,” declares the Lord,
“return to me with all your heart,
with fasting and weeping and mourning.”
“return to me with all your heart,
with fasting and weeping and mourning.”
13 Rend your heart
and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity.
14 Who knows? He may turn and relent
and leave behind a blessing—
grain offerings and drink offerings
for the Lord your God.
and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity.
14 Who knows? He may turn and relent
and leave behind a blessing—
grain offerings and drink offerings
for the Lord your God.

Guard Your Mouth and Fingers
Living in this day our mouth isn't the only thing that can cause trouble...we also have to guard our fingers as we type our words and blast them out into the cyber world which can have a longer lasting effect than our voice...
Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity. ~ Proverbs 21:23 (NIV)
